i have a small 51/2 in.x 9 in. ceramic heater with temp. control and auto thermostat and fan. my apt. living room is about 20′x12′. in about 15 minutes i can warm the room from 67 degrees to about 72 and takes the chill off for 21/2 hrs. although it is not an energy efficient listed heater in reality it saves energy as i only have to keep my house furnace therm. at 68 degrees and only need to run the heater for about 15 min. about 4 times a day, maybe a little more on an unusually frigid day. the name is :duracraft : and not sure were you can purchase this item as i’ve had it for about 20 years, although i will go on line later and see if i can find any info and post any thing i can.

You know it’s funny you should ask that ?. Me and my daugther were talking about the heater I left at her house,she was making fun of it’s size saying that it couldn’t possibly heat up a room that it was to small !!!Well I talk to her yesterday and guess what shes using to heat up her kitchen & living room?

I will get the name,make and modle # for u when I speak to her tomorrow; because I know there’s no chance of me getting it back now.

The Vornado is the best I have ever used. It is small, compact and completely safe from burning down your shelter. It can heat a whole room very easily- you will be amazed at its power for such a small tabletop unit. I wouldn’t buy anything else personally.
