Coleman Procat tent heater is safe if you have some ventilation in the tent.

neither, because they both produce enough heat to melt most tent fabrics, your better off bringing more blankets and rough it out, these often also produce a lot of carbon dioxide and monoxide, both are poisonous and sink in air, causing you to choke eventually in the night.

Mr Buddy for your tent heater, it has a low oxygen shutoff and you can adapt it to take a regular sized grill tank

I would go with a seperate coleman stove, if you have the room.
